What is a Program Assistant?

updated as of August 19, 2023

Program Assistant (PA) is a mandatory program for all skaters registered in the StarSkate sessions. The timeframe to complete the PA hours is September - March.  However if by December you aren't near complete, an invoice with the opt out fee, will be applied prior to Winter registration.

PAs help our younger skaters learn to skate in our PreCanskate and CanSkate Learn to Skate programs.  They help the professional coaches on the ice, and are very valuable as their energy, enthusiasm, and excellent skating skills help our new skaters enjoy our sport.
