2009/2010 Season - Learn To Skate

Important Dates:

Spring School: April 6th to May 20th
Spring Test Days: May 19th & 21st

Spring Registration is via Quick Enrollment.

Spring Registration for current WFSC Members: March 22, 2010
Level 3,Low Comp, High Comp from 7:00pm
Level 1,2 from 8:00pm

Recreation Registration for current WFSC members: March 24, 2010

Non-Members Registration accepted beginning March 29th, 2010

Out of Club registrants will not be accepted until they have either dropped their latest test papers into the Test/Registration Mailbox to Sharon Hauk's attention or faxed them to Sharon at 905-666-5276.

Spring Bonus weeks will run from May 31 - June 18, 2010. Registration forms will be distributed throughout the club in April.

Registration for all 2009-2010 WFSC Fall/Winter Programs are online. Follow the instructions below, to begin your online registration process.

If you have not created a family profile on Quickenrollment in order to register for WFSC winter programs, please visit https://www.quickenrollment.com/league/email_help.aspx?org_keyword=WFSCand follow the instructions.

If you have previously created a profile on Quickenrollment, please visit the above site and verify that all information is correct and proceed with your online registration for WFSC programs.

IF MAKING PAYMENT BY CHEQUE FOR CanSkate 2 Skaters Winter Registration: 1)Cheques must be received within 10 business days of date of registration.
2) If paying in installments: a) First cheque is current dated for a minimum of $400 b) remaining cheques dated beginning 1st of each month from September to January.

Learn To Skate Programs include:
KinderSkate, KinderCan, CanSkate, PowerSkating and AdultSkate.

The Whitby Figure Skating Club is a member of Skate Canada-Eastern Ontario Section. We are a community based skating club that teaches children and adults the basic and advanced art of skating as well as the skills for powerskating and figure skating. The club encourages everyone to skate for pleasure or for sport - to the best of their abilities. The skating programs we offer are sanctioned by Skate Canada, Canada's national skating association.

WFSC Learn To Skate Programs include:

KinderSkate: 3-5 year old

KinderCan: 3-6 year old

CanSkate1: For skaters 5 years old and up.

CanSkate2: Skaters that have passed their CanSkate Stage 4 badge.

Powerskating: The Teaching of skating skills for hockey and ringette players. Full hockey equipment with neck guard is mandatory.

AdultSkate: Skating sessions for both the beginner skater and the experienced skater looking to improve their skills.

Information if your skater has completed their Stage 4 CanSkate badge, click on the document titled "Ready for CanSkate 2".

WFSC-REFUND POLICY

Refunds are accepted prior to the first day of skating, less a $50.00 administration fee. Medical reasons (with a doctor’s note) and moves outside the region will also be considered. The first $400 for STARSkate and Competitive skaters will not be refunded after September 30th.

All refund requests must be submitted using the WFSC - Refund Request Form. The completed form and supporting documents may be dropped in the “WFSC Registration Mailbox” at the McKinney Centre or mailed to WFSC, PO Box 71, Whitby, Ontario L1N 5R7. Incomplete forms will not be processed.

A copy of the Refund Request Form can be downloaded from this website or a pre-printed copy may be picked up from the WFSC Office at the McKinney Centre.
