Registration
2011/2012 Season - Learn To SkateWe are required to register and insure all skaters through Skate Canada. This process can take up to 48 hours to complete, once a skater has been registered in a WFSC program. Therefore the WFSC must receive a skaters registration 48 hours before the skater may join a session on the ice.
Due to recent tampering and theft from McKinney mailboxes, please do not include any cash if using mailboxes to make registration payments. If you do wish to use cash, please contact us at 905-655-2203 ext 5010 or whitbyfsc@hotmail.com to make arrangements with a Board Member for pick up.
2011/2012 Fall/Winter Registration is via Quick Enrollment.
REMINDER: All skaters registering for any session(s) for the 2011-2012 Fall/Winter season MUST pay the annual $33 Skate Canada membership registration fee in addition to session costs, which covers the time period of September 1, 2011-August 31, 2012. This fee includes Skate Canada insurance, which is required before any skater steps onto the ice. Skaters will NOT be accepted into any programs until this fee has been received by the WFSC. Sessions fill up quickly, so if you have not yet submitted this fee, please do so via quickenrollment or by leaving payment at McKinney Centre in the Test/Registration mailbox, attn: Christine Abbasakoor, with the skater's name(s) clearly marked on the memo line. Our mailboxes are checked regularly.
If you have not created a family profile on Quickenrollment in order to register for WFSC winter programs, please visit www.QuickEnrollment.com and follow the instructions.
If you have previously created a profile, please visit the above site and verify that all information is correct and complete prior to your designated registration date and time.
REMINDER: Acceptance into WFSC skating sessions is based on space availability.
Remitting payment by credit card at the time of online registration does not guarantee your spot. If session is full, skater will be placed in their second or third choice if given in their registration process.
IF MAKING PAYMENT BY CHEQUE OR CASH:
1)Cheques must be received within 5 business days of date of registration.
If paying by installments, please refer to the WFSC Recreation/CanSkate Payment Plan link below. Remember; do not put cash in the Test/Registration box as per the instructions above.
The Whitby Figure Skating Club is a member of Skate Canada-Eastern Ontario Section. We are a community based skating club that teaches children and adults the basic and advanced art of skating as well as the skills for powerskating and figure skating. The club encourages everyone to skate for pleasure or for sport - to the best of their abilities. The skating programs we offer are sanctioned by Skate Canada, Canada's national skating association.
