Philosophy: My goal is to provide a positive learning experience and to share my love and passion of skating. In addition to learning the fundamentals of skating, I enjoy watching the children grow into independent, confident individuals while learning good sportsmanship and positive attitude.
Certification: Level 1 Certified, Level 2-Theory and Technical and Certified Canpowerskate. Teaching Experience: 13 years. Area of Specialization: Freeskate, Dance, Choreography, Powerskating and Synchronized Skating. Professional Highlights: I have ahd various skaters who compete at the test stream levels who attend various competitions and I also have skaters who compete at the Competitive level. Personal Skating Highlights: As a young skater I competed in various competitions from invitational to All Ontario's in dance and freeskate. I was a memeber of the Leaside Junior Synchronized skating team and competed at the National level and I continue to skate as an Adult Synchronize skater. |

COACHING PHILOSOPHY: As a full-time professional coach my goal is to assist skaters develop to their full potential, whether it be as a competitive, test stream or recreational skater, while always maintaining family and school priorities. My goal is that each skater develops life skills that will benefit them far beyond our sport.

Philosophy: To share my passion and knowledge of the sport while helping each skater strive to reach their maximum potential through encouragement, positive feedback, progressive teaching methods and fun.
Certification: CanSkate Certified Coach; First Aid/CPR; Teaching Experience: 11 years as an ECE for preschool children, 10 years of teaching skating skills to preschool children Area of Specialization: Free Skate and Skills. Professional Highlights: I have been an Early Childhood Educator for 11 years and have worked extensively with young children in a teaching environment while coordinating and instructing the Learn to Skate Programs for Upper Canada Childcare Centres, 2 years providing private instruction to preschoolers. Personal Skating Highlights: Gold Freeskate, 7th Figure, Novice Competitive, Senior Silver Dances, 15 years as an amateur figure skater of which 8 were as a competitive skater. |

Philosophy: To teach discipline, competitive outlook, to set short and long term goals for each skaters as an individual. It is also to develop skill, sportsmanship and the value of hard work without sacrificing fun.
Certification: NCCP Level 3 Certified; First Aid/CPR; Teaching Experience: I have been teaching for over 20 years. Area of Specialization: Singles and Pairs. Professional Highlights: I have coached skaters from Preliminary to Gold level test as well as Competitive tests. My competitive skaters have competed at the Sectionals level and qualified for Trillium Cup, Winter Games, Eastern Challenge and Junior Nationals. My STARSkate competitors have competed at EOSIC and some have qualifed and medaled at Trillium STARSkate(All Ontario's) and Junior Nationals_ Personal Skating Highlights: In my skating career I have achieved Triple Gold(freeskate, dance and pairs), Senior competitive pairs and was a former National level competitor. |
